Introduction
Before booking a night at Compass Hut,, you warrant that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them subject to such changes as are notified to you. These Terms and Conditions also apply if you book through a third party.
Accommodation
Rooms are subject to availability.
Rates are per room and based on two-person occupancy only.
Maximum occupancy per Tiny House is two people.
Pets are not allowed
Check in time is 3pm
Check out time is 10am
Off-grid experience
Guests acknowledge that our accommodation is 100% off-grid, and acknowledge that the toilet is a compost toilet.
Children
Our Tiny House accommodation is not available to cater for more than 2 people. This also applies to children.
Bookings
All accommodation must be paid in full at the time of the reservation by the provision of credit card details/ or on the day of check-in at the latest.
When making a booking, by providing credit card details you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise us to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card.
A booking confirmation email must be obtained. If a booking confirmation email is not obtained, the booking is not confirmed,
If guests take items listed at an extra cost within their room, Compass Hut has right to charge for those items not paid for by the guest at the time of check out to the guaranteed credit card for the room.
Gift vouchers
Those who purchase a gift voucher acknowledge this is non-refundable.
All gift vouchers expire in 12 months from the date of issue.
Gift vouchers are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Check-in & check-out time
> Check-in and Check-out times:
Check-in is from 3:00pm, and check-out is by 10:00am.
We rely on these times to ensure we can properly prepare each tiny house for incoming guests.
> Late check-out requests (by prior approval only):

Late check-out may be available if requested before 6:00pm the day prior, subject to availability and scheduling.

If approved, a late check-out fee may apply.
> Unauthorised late check-out/overstay:

If you remain after 10:00am, or past an approved late check-out time, a late check-out fee may be charged.

If an overstay prevents us from preparing the tiny house for incoming guests (including where access is delayed or refused), an additional night's charge at the current nightly rate may apply to cover lost income and additional cleaning or operational costs.
> Payment authority:
By making a booking (directly or via a third party), you authorise Compass Hut to charge your stored card for:

Any approved late check-out fee;

Any additional night charged due to an overstay that prevents turnover;

Any reasonable extra cleaning or laundry costs incurred due to an overstay; and
-
Any damages to the property.
All other booking and cancellation terms continue to apply.
Cancellations
Cancellations for bookings are available up to 7 days prior to 4 pm on check-in day. The booking will not be refunded after this time.
No refund will be granted if a guest does not arrive for their booking or cancels on the date of their booking.
A cancellation confirmation email must be obtained. If a cancellation email is not received, the booking remains in effect.
